I am a grade 8/9 English Language Arts teacher. The purpose of this blog is to have my students participate in using online technology while engaging them in Alberta Curriculum Outcomes. Through this blog, students will review, reread and reflect on oral, print and other media texts to explore, confirm or revise understanding. They will seek out and consider diverse ideas, opinions and experiences to develop and extend own ideas, opinions and experiences.
 
Students will also acknowledge the value of others’ ideas and opinions in exploring and extending personal interpretations and perspectives and in doing so they will reconsider and revise initial understandings and responses in light of new ideas, information and feedback from others. They will be engaged in appreciative inquiry.
