  1. Wow I am so impressed with your poems 7b and all the thoughts and ideas you have in them. You guys are amazing.

  2. Acceptance

If we all accepted each other for who we are
The world wouldn’t have all the violence it has today.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re short, tall, black or white,
Because on the inside we are all the same.

The acceptance of others is important because
People should be able to dress, act and do what they want.
I think whether you are a human or an animal
We should all treat each other with nothing but love and respect.

  3. “A Perfect World”

No one is judged by the color of their skin
Not one person is considered more valuable
    Racism is considered a sin
People will not have a label

    All cultures are respected
    No poverty world wide
    Your religion isn’t selected
The world is full of pride

    Everyone has the same rights
    Kindness is flowing
The world has improved by soaring heights
All people treat each other nicely without even knowing

    Everyone can live in peace
    No danger
    The happiness would never cease
    Nobody would be a stranger

This is what makes a perfect life
I wish for happiness, for all hurt to end
    No grief, no strife
For all that’s broken and hurt to mend

  4. We should treat black peoples
A normal people too like don’t
Call them “the N word”, “black” etc.
Because it will hurt their feelings
    We should join together to

    Make an anti-racism group
    For them to be comfortable
And live happy without calling them
“N word”. There are some people

Who think that they are perfect?
They always teased a black man
Just for fun. Please stop this
Black people want to live normal

Too like us just because their black
You’re going to tell them “ugly black”
Don’t judge them their just a normal

  5. Change the World
Some people are weak, some people are strong.
Some people are short, some people are tall.
Some people are poor, some people are rich.
Some people are brown skinned, some people are white skinned.
But we are all the same.
    We are humans, not animals.
No matter if were different, we are the same inside.
We have feelings, we have hope.
We have a heart, we have a soul.
    We have a personality,
And we all should accept it.
We should be kind, nice, and happy.
We shouldn’t be racist, suicidal, or create war.
We should stick together, to make this world stronger……..

  6. Marc’s Poem
    Skittles
A man sat on a cloud eating skittles,
    The candies brought him joy.

A man sat on a cloud and looked down at the world,
    It was colorless and grey.

A man sat on a cloud,
he ate a green skittle ,
The grass and trees were green.

A man sat on a cloud,
    he ate a blue skittle,
    the sky was blue.

A man sat on a cloud,
    he ate a yellow skittle,
    the sun was bright.

    A man sat on a cloud ,
    The world was colored,
    Something was missing.

A man sat on a cloud,
    He created people,
Every color of the joyful candy.

A man sat on a cloud,
    He viewed the world below,
The rainbow of colors brought him joy.

A man sat on a cloud,
As the candies in his hand mingled peacefully,
So he hoped the rainbow below would as well.

A man sat on a cloud,
He wished the world joy and peace,
Like skittles to the man on a cloud.

  7. Imagine being called ugly names every day
Imagine being looked at weird wherever you go
Imagine being chased down the the street for no reason
    Imagine being arrested just because
Imagine being your family being beat up
Why?All beacuse your skin is differnt

  8. God made me, God made you,
Respect is what we got to do.
If we cut our fingers, we’d bleed the same,
Different colored skin, but also different names.
    We have things in common,
We both like fun and games,
We run, we laugh, we hop and skip,
And let no bad words through our lips.
Because respect is what we got to do,
Respect to me, respect to you.

  10. My Poem about the world
    By Faith Wolfe

We live in a beautiful, wondrous world,
Where people can find happiness if they only look for it.
Where a deaf man can find music in his soul,
And where a blind child can see the world as a place of caring hearts, love and joy.
Where a human first looked at the stars and dreamed of going beyond our world to somewhere new
And we kept on going with the stubbornness in our hearts saying,
    We can do this.
Where a man stepped on the moon, and felt pride as he made a dream for millions,
    Come true.
This is a world, where woman fought for equal rights, so that she would be no lesser than any man.
This is a world where slavery has dropped down to the size of an orange,
It’s still going for some children in the world,
Where they are worked hard to the bone,
Until they can’t do it anymore.
This world is not only of beauty.
    It can be dark.
There are children being starved to death,
    With no mother,
No father only them and their brothers and sisters.
There are countries fighting with each other and for what?
These are grown men acting like children.
    Some fighting for what’s right,
Others fight so that they can play by their own rules.
What good comes out of it? Nothing.
All it is, is foolish men blinded by greed.
The world is amazing, yet we abuse what it has to give us.
We have been blinded and fooled by greed, and madness.
We only have one life to live.
    Why must we torment ourselves?
We only have one world, and we are destroying it.
We must save it before it’s too late.
Let us put away our petty desires for evil and use what we were given by god for good.
let us see once again how our world was, astounding.
May we recognize our mistakes and fix them.
In the good of our hearts,
And the love of our souls,
Let’s remember our world for what it is!

  11. Acceptance and Tolerance of Others
The world is a very selfish and bad place. Wars going on everywhere, corruption, and people so rude and mean to each other. There are so many different cultures with so many different ways of life. People should stop being so terrible to others if we want to change the world. Some cultures are so different than the other ones that when people see another one, they don’t know anything about it. I think we should be more educated about other cultures. Dance is a big of lots of cultures as well as foods and clothing. It is very unsettling to think about some of the things going on in this planet we call earth. I want to help change the world one town at a time, one country at a time, then the whole world.

  12. Our world we live in is in craze, One that I’m hoping is just a phase, Our society is something I sometimes doubt, Making me believe a hectic generation is beginning to sprout, slavery is still there, and some people seem not to care, the color of skin does not matter, but for some that belief is in shatters, there are some people with a spark in their hearts who always gave me hope from the start those people with strong smiles which stretched as long as great river Nile, the people who were really fed up, but always kept their head up, to me those are beautiful people in life, the ones who proved they could even handle the pain of a knife, although there are people that can make your head hang low, you just have to prove how bright you can glow, our world is obviously not perfect, and the acceptance of others may not always be the best, but just remember all that matters is what’s beneath your chest.

  13. Acceptance and tolerance

Our society has changed into a dangerous place with crazy people, drugs and internet. People are so racist to each other because they’re a different color of skin or a different culture. We could change our world by doing more nice things.

  14. Changing the World

I want to change the world
To open the doors to positive
    Shadowing out doubt and negative
Bringing back for what is worth
I want to change the meaning of peace
    To something permanent
Recover the greatest memories that were lived
Immoral Flashbacks takes place in our mind
    But in the end
The sun rises and then sets
    Creating life and growth
But I would not dare to change the past
Only accept it as we should accept others for who they are

  15. We are all the same.

    A day of peace
    A day of war
    People are happy
    People are dying
    Different ages
    Different race
    Small or
    Tall
    Skinny
    Or Huge
    Old or
    Young
At the end we are all the same

  16. I want all the pointless wars to end and for the world to be at peace. And for everyone to come together and share a forgiveness feast. There will be no more violence and the guns will be silenced. Everyone with accept each other no matter their skin, religion or race. Not a single heart will stop or a tear of sorrow would drop. When will this day come? To everyone the thought of it is still numb.

  17. Raging nights, dark and wild lit only by the city and fire
Sun kissed mornings, breezy and free oh what a world that would be
No put downs, no snarky comments, no gun shot fires, no murders, no suicides
Just think how simple it would be to change the bad things and keep the good things
If everyone cared we can change but the thing is very little people care enough to change
What would it take to put an end to all the terrible things in this world?
    Money? Food? Cars? Who knows?

  18. Best Friends stick together till the end,

They are like a straight line that will not bend.

    They trust each other forever,

nomatter if you`re apart you are always together

  19. The World Today
    War, racists, suicide,
this is not what the world was intended for,
    the green grass, flowers, friendship,
All dissappeared for what seemed, not too long ago,

    Difference doesnt matter,
what the world is today makes me sadder,
color, size, age are just words and numbers,

    whats inside that counts,
Not the color, age or size,
    your heart tells you,

True friendship doesnt matter what culture or religion,
we take what we were given,
    So what do you say?
Can you help me change the world today?

  20. Acceptance and tolerance

People are people whatever color or race, we need to get rid of this hateful hate don’t make fun of people’s cultures or traditions. We need to get rid of racism and find happiness joy and love in all people. Don’t make fun of people on how they look and how their named

  21. Acceptance
Acceptance and Tolerance towards all in
this world will help us see the light…
We should never have to choose
    Between wrong and right,
If we do, we might lose
The ability to see the light

I wish the world could accept that,
    That everyone is the same
No matter what color your skin is,
We should stop this injustice game.

We should be able to be who we are,
Not caring about what others think
    Raise the standards bar
No matter if you are white brown, black or pink.

This is my wish for the world,
    Acceptance is beautiful to me,
    Tolerance towards others,
    If only everyone could see

  22. The Acceptance and Tolerance of others
If people are a different race or a different culture we should still be able to accept who they are not the color of their skin or their religious background, we shouldn’t judge people on how tall they are or how short they are. Skinny or fat there’s no difference. We’re all human beings.

  23. Acceptance of others
I wish for a world that was peaceful and happy. This world has changed; our parents did not live in the same world we live in right now. The world is full of problems every day, racism, bullying, war, poverty and much more. I wish for a world that didn’t have homeless people wandering the streets, begging for a few dollars, a world that didn’t have to worry if everyone went to sleep on a full stomach, and a world that gave everyone the freedom to walk around their own town without being stopped. If only the people of the world could drop everything their doing to take a moment to think about what this world has come to. We never really do think about what is happening in the world around us. We might live in a well-built house, have food that fills our stomachs, clean drinking water, electricity to light up our day, and a family that loves you, but think about the people who don’t get to live life easily. They might not have a house to live in, clean drinking water, food for every meal of the day, and they might not have somebody that loves them. Family, food, technology and lots of other things are taken for granted, but how would you feel if that was taken away from you in a flash? Let’s think about what is happening all around us and take a stand, because if we all really cared we would take a stand and help the other people that suffer through the hard times. It can really only take a few people to change this world.

  24. Acceptance
In our world, there are those who are hard inside and out
While there are those who are soft, inside and out

There are some, who hide their softness by putting up solid walls to protect themselves.
Some who hide away, ad refuse to show at all

Some bring darkness into the light
    While some shine without darkness

Some break others walls down, just to build up their own.
They find cracks and weak spots, then pick away until it crumbles

But some who shine will help rebuild, and stop the crumbling as it happens
Some who stop the hate as it happens

Some find others differences and use them as wrecking balls
Some use them as building blocks.

While all should be those who bring the light, for then would there be need for exceptional acts of kindness?
If there are no need for walls, they cannot be brought crumbling down.

  25. Acceptance and Tolerance; Judging and Racism
Take a moment and look around you. Are people the same? Not every person is just like you want them to be. There are many differences in every person, even if you don’t see them just looking at them. It might be more on the inside. The sad thing is not everyone accepts that fact. Some people are black, some are white, and some brown. Some people are Christian; some are Muslim and Jehovah witness. Lots of people are tall, and lots are short. We come in all different sizes too. People just don’t realize that everyone is equal and god created us this way. There are so many people out there that judge people just on how they look, even if they just see a person that they don’t think is ‘right’. They think that it’s okay to just say whatever they please. Who knows, God could’ve chose to make them the one that stands out in a crowd or the one that everyone laughs at. Everyone has their own special quirks, and ways, and that’s okay. I think that people should learn to accept people. That doesn’t mean you have to be their best friend, or even their friend but just try avoiding the use of those hurtful words, or actions if you are a person who does use them. I think if more people did this that our society has a great potential to become a great place.

  26. Without other cultures, languages and countries we would have less differences making the world a boring place without foods like croissants or many other foods. Or less sports like lacrosse or soccer all of the things that we have are a result of different cultures and countries all around the world and its sad that with all the things we’ve done people still discriminate against others no matter if there culture is different than yours.

  27. Acceptance and tolerance

    I may be small
But I have a big heart
I know when I see big bad things in this world that can be so small
There’s always going to be people who are smart
But there will also be people who are not
Some people will be loving, caring, sweet and joyful
Where others will be rude, ignorant, disrespectful and horrible
But you have to put up with it and accept people for who they are.
